Looks like this is going to be the longer cut of the film judging by the runtime given, which will undoubtedly end up being more along the lines of ~116 minutes and not the reported 119. The extras appear to be the same ones included on my French DVD edition.

Yes !!! been waiting ages for this to come to Blu-ray - should look gorgeous in HD and never seen a HDTV rip either - hope its a good transfer

I didn't know there was more than one cut of this.

The UK version has always been 116m (111m @ PAL speed).

The film was shortened in the US by Republic. As far as I know the rest of the world always got the 116min version.

This isn't the studio that normally adds forced subtitles to their blu-rays is it ? ( I hope not as i love this film and am so excited its coming to blu- the cinematography and soundtrack is awesome - plus i love Diane Lane too )

No, Koch is safe when it comes to subtitles.

Thanks for confirming this - even more excited now - i have the UK dvd which only has 2.0 audio - cant wait to hear what they do with the 5.1 mix - i love Anne Dudleys score in this and its one of the best atmospheric thrillers ive seen in the 90s - after Copycat and Silence Of The Lambs.

I'd just looked a month ago since I have my dvd's listed for this. so this one and Under Suspicion are up for it next month meanwhile American Studio's are still asleep at the wheel.

For those outside the Region B territory it should be noted the backcover features the Region B logo. Whether or not it is actually locked remains to be confirmed but note that it is a possibility.

So did anybody get this and have a few comments (I loved this movie when I saw it a long time ago)? Just curious. Also if somebody could confirm if maybe its region free (beyond the back cover), I'd appreciate it.

Just started watching now - guys its region B locked though be warned - so far the opening by credits are a bit dirty with a dots on some shots as tends to be on opening credits these days on old films but once the film starts it looks very nice and filmic with natural grain and nice blacks too - very pleased it’s at least not a dvd upscale - will post more comments later - love this film )

Have watched this and the extras - what was a nice surprise(Aswell as the picture quality) was the full film is also available in open matte 1.33 format - i was quite surprised as i always thought the movie what shot in anamorphic widescreen - with this extra you see more picture at the top of the bottom which is a nice addition - the quality is more like dvd as it looks quite washed out compared to the HD version itself - as for the movie in HD it looks very good for a catalogue title from the 90's - lots of filmic grain and nice deep blacks - 4 audio tracks - dts hd master 5.1 & 2.0 in german and english - i have to say i prefer the 2.0 mix as it opens the music soundstage up more - i think the 5.1 mix is probably upscaled too plus i noticed the audio drops in and out on some speaking parts on the film. As mentioned before its Region B locked - the other extras are 2 trailers, some behind the scenes footage and interviews with the main cast and crew. If you like this film as much as i do you wont be disappointed

Received this yesterday; can't wait to watch. Wish I could find that German release of the Hunted, too (with Christopher Lambert). It came out in a limited mediabook but now seems to be nonexistent.

I had totally forgotten about this release. Just ordered it from Amazon Germany along with with Four Rooms on BD. Total was $17 and some change shipped to the U.S.
