Any update guys on the ETA for this?
Doesnt seem to be in 1.2

Latest firmware is 1.21 but Pioneer should be releasing an update in Feb that greatly improves speed with the DTS HD-MA upgrade coming in March. The upgrade should coincide with the release of Pioneer's new 2.0 players, which will also need a firmware upgrade to utilize DTS HD-MA.

1.21 has been out for some time now.

If you order from the second link, Pioneer will ship the FW disk for free. I've gotten three from them, and haven't paid a penny.

The player will be obsolete by the time they get the internal DTS MA fixed

. Fortunately I don't need it and the 05 is a superb BD player anyway.

Now i updated to 1.21 i am getting bitstream DTS-HD MA - Wow! it is soooo good

You didn't need any hardware or upgrade to "bitstream" DTS MA, it did that right out of the box. Do you mean something else?

My BDP-51 now has 1.21 and it bitstreams DTS HD MA now quite happily to my Elite 92TXH receiver which can decode DTS-HD MA.
I didnt need to make any changes to my setup for that to happen.
