I was afraid of a BD-R situation, but I'll hold out hope since I waited too long on the TT release.

Hopefully they follow the Guess Who's Coming to Dinner model and make it a digibook with digital...

Hope it's not a bd-r. Haven't watched this one in a while but enjoyed it in the theater as a kid.

Bought the German release ages ago, but it's still nice to see another TT title get a real release. "Sleepless in Seattle" of all things too. IIRC that took something like 2 years to go OOP on SAC. Guess Sony or Universal or whatever realized exclusively selling through web 2.0 sites and 3rd party Amazon sellers was probably hiding the releases from their potential audiences.

I have the TT release, so I don't see a need to rebuy it -- but I often felt like this should get a wide release, so this is good news for people who didn't pick it up.

The Twilight Time release is using an older, outdated Sony transfer that looks horrible. This one will probably be from a brand new 4k scan of the OCN like Jerry McGuire, A Few Good Men, Groundhog Day, etc.

I'm hoping Sony releases a 4k Blu-ray as well!!!

Why not release "As Good As It Gets" as well if Sony is now releasing some catalogue titles licensed to Twilight Time. Both of them sold out.

Yikes, As Good As It Gets BD from Twilight Time now selling for $60 on eBay, $80 on Amazon. It's a classic imo, great film deserves a wide BD release. Though tons of import versions released for Sleepless In Seattle and As Good As It Gets.

This is a classic, and I don't know why Sony didn't release it themselves in the first place. Hopefully they'll reissue Philadelphia too, and give Little Women and Marie Antoinette pressed releases (or license them to Mill Creek like Tezuka's Metropolis).
