Are there any differences between the Full Moon version of the trunk and Amazon's?

The description shows that they're the same thing, the only difference is you have to wait until June to get it from Amazon whereas it's been available from Full Moon Direct for awhile now. Full Moon likes to keep things exclusive to their site for an undermined amount of time before expanding distribution.

There shouldn't be any differences other than the Amazon version's won't come autographed by Charles Band. Band sells his stuff to anyone/everyone that will carry it and so whatever unique aspects make up a particular release (such as new cover art/miniature figures, etc) will be the same across all retailers. At Current prices of $219.99 means $11 per film which is a decent deal. I'd love the set but already own all the individual releases except for the last/most recent entry and can't justify spending that much for only 1 new film and a box.

If the films are all you're after, https://www.hamiltonbook.com/ has 8 of them for $6.95 each. So you'd only need to find Curse of the Puppet Master and the latest entry to have the complete set for around 30% of the cost of the full box set.

The contents of that bonus 12th disc are exclusive to that disc, or are they available elsewhere? I'd like that disc, but already have most of these films, so it's hard to justify the price of the box set. Especially when the 88 Films editions tend to be better, so I wouldn't want to sell those off to recoup the cost.

Okay, thanks. At least I don't have to "worry" about something added to the amazon version as I've had the FMD version for a while now

Read 3 posts before yours. Hamilton books still has 6 of the films for $6.95 each. Shipping is $4 total per order in the US so for around $46 you could knock out half the series. Other than the first film (which you can usually find used for around $5 or so regularly) it really doesn't ever get cheaper than that.

Nothing as far as I can tell, they're just restock. No idea why Amazon basically lists them as a new product but I guess it's how Full Moon distributes them.
