Default Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Just wanted to see if anybody on this forum trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu?
I am a blue belt, but I have been out of training for almost a year.
I train at Team Balance.
Just checking to see if anybody else trains in BJJ, or any other martial art.

I always wanted to! ...but I don't like getting hit in the nose.

My baby boy will be born in May...as soon as he's old enough im signing him up. 20 years from now he'll be a lil' bad ass.

I wish I would have heard of the sport about 15 years ago. I think it would have been a blast.

It is a very fun sport. Learning all the different maneuvers is challenging, and it takes a lot of discipline, but it is worth it.

Definitely sign him up when he is old enough. I see a lot of young kids going to Judo classes before the BJJ classes, and the Judo helps a lot with their Jiu-Jitsu.
Sign him up for both and he will be a killer, haha!

Is there a way to be alerted when Teabaggins posts? Good stuff! You should get your title changed to Blu-ray.com Comedian or The Comedian.

I train in BJJ but have decided not to belt though my instructor offers it. I am now dabbling in KENPO KARATE which I really enjoy. My insturctor is 6th Degree Black Belt in KENPO and Purple belt in BJJ. Rolling the last ten minutes of class is the worst 10 minutes of my life...UGGG....

I am currently a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Marcus Soares. Good to see other grapplers here.

I have also boxed since age 13 and done Muay Thai since 15.

If I tried to do that my girlfriend would posture, shake loose and go for a double underpass.

U gotta work with a closed guard first, so she can't escape.

I've trained in 3 different styles of Karate Shito-Rhu, Renshi-Kan, Chito Ryu. I have a buddy who teaches the BJJ and he travels to New York to train with Renzo Gracie(not sure on the spelling) He always invites me to come over and give it a try. It's all good stuff.
