I just noticed that Vortex no longer sells their original 4-disc Blu-Ray case; does anyone know where to find them? I hate the redesigned "stacker" ones, but still prefer the flatter spine instead of Viva Elites.

I'm not seeing the old style 4 disc version, but Casetopia has the 5 disc cases. They are about the same size, just with an extra disc hub. I know having an extra empty hub may not be ideal, but its at least an option to get as close to what you are looking for as possible. Personally I'd take an extra hub over having to stack discs any day.

Does anybody know where I can order spare cases as seen in this video?

I ordered a Blu-ray from Germany (it, too, is a Universal release), and it arrived with the case shattered. Disc is fine, but I'd love to replace the case. Apparently it is an Elite case, but I can't find a place to order them from. They have unique square edges. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Those are 11mm Viva Elite cases which Kronenberg carries. You can find the link in the first post of this thread:

Has anyone been able to find Viva Elite Cear 12mm single disc cases WITHOUT the blu-ray logo for sale anywhere other than the Twilight Time website? Both Casetopia and MegaDiscStore (i.e. their ebay and amazon store fronts) carry the double disc variant and it doesn't have the logo, but their stocks of the single disc cases do have the blu-ray logo.

Does anyone know where I can find the clear Blu-ray cases that were used for the 3D Blu-ray editions of The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2?

Trying to save space and move to the slim jewel cases (the 5.2mm ones). I need a ton of them. Casetopia has no stock, and Disc Makers was over $200 shipping. Casetopia hasn't responded to an e-mail (sales@casetopia.com) asking about stock (want to make sure the listing isn't just a placeholder and they don't carry them any more). Any other good options for the most generic of cases?

My other issue with Disk Makers pricing was the shipping was the same before and after they knew my address--for that expensive of shipping I'd expect more custom shipping pricing.

Have you tried Amazon? Finding slim CD cases through them should be easy. It's not like you are looking for the most obscure type of case or anything.

I did a quick search and there are a lot of options there. Many are through 3rd party sellers, but several are fulfilled by Amazon and quality for free shipping.

Does anyone know who makes the newer 4-disc cases, used for WB's TV-in-HD releases? They're about 14 or 15mm thick, with a silver but not embossed Blu-Ray logo, and a double-sided tray instead of the stackable version. Here's a few pics...

Looks like Elite, but not sure. Warner uses Elite Keep Cases, though, don't they?

Its not the Viva Elite; the spine is too flat.

Elite do do 14mm cases, but usually they're labelled, the trays are rounded with the ones I have.

Every version of the Elite case I've come across has had a rounded spine, while this one has a more box-shaped one similar to the Vortex brand. The problem is that Vortex stopped making 14 mm cases about a year ago; their 4-disc cases are 22 mm with the overlapping design now.

I checked the cases more closely, and found some patent numbers engraved onto them very small. From what I could gather, they're registered to a company called Finest Products Limited in Hong Kong...but I can't find anything else about them.

I need to know the answer to this too. Viz Media (also WB) and Funimation began using these cases recently and one of mine arrived broken a few months ago.

Does anyone know what kind of cases that Shout! Factory primarily uses for their Blu-ray releases?
