Default Steven Spielberg Films

It sucks that Close Encounters of the Third Kind is the only one (other than Indy IV) of the Beard's films. I will gladly take...

Duel
The Sugarland Express
Jaws
Raiders of the Lost Ark (Indy 4-pack actually)
E.T.
The Color Purple
Empire of the Sun
Jurassic Park
Schindler's List
Saving Private Ryan
A.I. Artificial Intelligence
Minority Report
Catch Me If You Can
The Terminal
War of the Worlds
Munich

My son is just about old enough to see E.T. and would really like to show it to him on BD... he starts kindergarten next year and i fear the old "substitute-pulls-battered-vhs-out-of-bag-and-ruins-it" trick.

Steven Spielberg has George Lucas Syndrome. It's a terribly crippling disease that prevents a director from allowing a majority his artwork to be released on a new format.

Psst....He secretly hates Blu-ray.

Yes, it's called a stop-being-full-of-yourself-you-jackass-reduction-pill™. Unfortunately neither Lucas nor Spielberg will ever feel the need to take one.

Both are horribly over rated anyhow though, so it's not a huge loss. Lucas has what, 3...maybe 4 good films to his name? Spielberg has more, but much of his filmography is pretty over rated as well. I'm not exactly pining away for 'Amistad', 'Jurassic Park', 'Always', 'Hook', or most of his other films.

While my opinion may be in the minority, it's pretty sad (like them or not), how they don't do things for the fans; but for the money, or out of pride.
