I have two HDMI cables that perform better than cables from Monster and Monoprice. The first one is Blessed HDMI cable. It is blessed by the Pope. The second one is Voodoo Cable. I had it sent to the jungles of the Amazon and the grand witch there put a spell on it. My wife and kids see a huge improvement.

We have discussed this topic a thousand times. If you see a difference in the name brand cable and want to spend a few hundred dollars, please do so. If you want to be smart and spend less than $10, go to Monoprice. If you don't like the cable from Monoprice, throw it in the garbage. It is only a few dollars.

The monster 1000 series is 1.3a certified so you can get the high def. audio (albeit your denon has the 1.3a cabailities) and it comes with the Monster Cable for Life program. The only problem with Monster that I forsee (other than price) is that they are pretty limited with the longer lengths.
hdmi 1.3a has nothing to do with the cable. in order to carry the hdmi logo, a cable must meet a bandwidth that far exceeds hdmi 1.3a; therefore the bridge (cable) is never an issue.

I wonder, what's different HDMI cable? if less than 6 ft cable. look fine picture....

if you want cheap a HDMI cable then buy monoprice.com
save money then buy new monster cable. throw a old cable in gargebag.

my opinion, my experinced about a monster cable for videogames. it's great picture.

case in point, the TV you buy and your source are what's going to majorly affect how good your picture is. that's what your money should be going toward. even IF a monster cable makes a MINOR difference, is that difference really worth a MAJOR $100+?

edit: not trying to dog anyone here. if you prefer monster that's your personal preference.
