knew this was coming. the core system was a dumb idea to begin with. who wants to get a system that can't do any online playing or play certain games made for the 360 all because it had no hard drive.... shame

The core system can both go online and play all the games

No games require the hard drive, unfortunately

But no one wants the core system is why they stopped selling them. Can we get a mod to change it to "core systems" for accuracy? The title says they stopped selling it period

Not the way I heard it. In order to go online it requires updates which can only be obtained if you have a hard drive.... perhaps I'm wrong, but I know you NEED the updates to play online.

It's like this; Wicky's right in that the Core can go online. It's just that the Premium/Elite come with a year subscription, while I'm fairly sure this isn't part of the Core. So to say, the Core can go online iff you add $50.

Final Fantasy XI, the (Championship Manager?) soccer management games and a couple others require the HDD to be played.
