The brief Dolby Cinema preview looked great, expecting the same from the UHD. And thankfully it's not a catalog title so it should be safe from Universal's fallen standards...

That Steelbook artwork is from Jurassic World, not the new movie. The other one's pretty good.

Okay I'm seeing this movie mostly for Bryce Dallas Howard now because she's *shining* in the latest trailer; badass, great fashion, cool action, a welcome turn from how she was somewhat underwhelmingly represented in the first movie.

Pratty McPrattface is starting to get a little tired for me, though.

I really wish I had a premium theater with HDR near me.

FYE is already taking pre-orders for this, & Mission Impossible: Fallout. They had Early Man 4K on their sheet but I'm assuming their sheet was old and we aren't getting that in the future.

Saw the film last night and while Jurassic World isn't as pretty as it was in the first film of the same name I have no doubt this film will look stunning in UHD with HDR

My viewing was ruined somewhat by idiots in the cinema who wouldn't stop talking so really looking forward to seeing the film again in the silence of my own home

Some are saying this is the best Jurassic movie since the first and others are saying it ruined their childhood so the next few months on this forum sound like they're absolutely positively gonna be so much fun!

JW was better imo, the even more far fetched story arcs (one in particular) sullied the film some what for me

Having just seen it...all I say is that there are elements that are going to split whatever fanbase this franchise has. It's got two twists that I don't even think were necessary but because of how this thing ends, I'm gonna need a Part 3 to this.

This is the most visually impressive film in the series other than the original. There are some iconic, great creature shots/moments in this thing. It's got thrills and scares. Is it hokey in spots? Yes. Leaps in logic? Yep. But, I think I liked this one more than JURASSIC WORLD. And the ending. Yeah...definitely gonna need a Part 3.

It was pretty good I thought. A lot tighter than Jurassic World. It had better directing and cinematography. Never thought I'd see a Jurassic Park film take on an almost gothic horror tone (in the latter half of the film anyway), but it worked. Characters felt a bit more fully rounded too. The story took some twists and turns that I liked and I feel opens things up a bit more for the next film. It's not perfect. There's one or two niggles I have with the film but overall I really enjoyed it. Blacks were pretty deep so hopefully Universal doesn't crush them to hell on the UHD and leaves them as is. Lots of opportunity for HDR to show its worth with this one, lots of torches, lava, lightning flashes and more to create some brilliant highlights.

I definitely feel it was a stronger film than many have given it credit for. It quite obviously suffers from being the middle chapter of a trilogy, but I really enjoyed and I think I will go see it again and I've pre-ordered the 4K steelbook
