This is supposed to release on around 600 screens. Honestly they should release it after Aquaman. Might get a few more eyeballs. Release it in January or something.

One of the reviews at IMDB references a "directors cut" versus "producers cut", and that the latter is more widely released. Does anyone know how to tell in advance which cut is being shown? Are there different run times?

Thanks. That's nowhere near me, unfortunately. The runtime for the listings at theaters in my city is 118 minutes, so its probably the producers cut. I'll just wait for it to be available to rent and check it out that way, I guess.

The article here (and another linked within) say it is Cullen's cut that has been released to theaters. So who knows which is showing?

Apparently this is the second lowest grossing opening weekend in history for a film with a wide release (600+ screens).

The stories about that seem to be the only promotion it is getting or will get. I'd never heard of until seeing an article about what a bomb it is.

I might go see it this week. It would be nice if someone could point to a specific scene or scenes to look for which would identify if you saw the directors cut or the producers cut.

It didn't even have a promotional poster in the AMC app on my phone. It did have Amber Heard in various states of undress. I thought she was looking a little long in the tooth in the Aquabro trailers. I guess a lot can happen in 5 years because she looks great in this movie. The movie was...okay.
