I love this flick.

At the time of release I didn't like it... the modern elements seemed to be at odds with the historical theme.

However, I caught it on TV a few years back and was amazed at how well it works - it feels more like a contemporary 'period' movie. Guess it was ahead of it's time

Definitely be picking this up - didn't even know it was earmarked for release.

I saw it in the cinema due to the Scott connection, I always enjoyed it.
But I am glad I can finally upgrade the super jewel case DVD.

Haven’t seen this since Good Friday 1999 (the day of its release) It was showing at the ‘Premiere Screen’ and for some reason I never returned to it. Really need to watch it again.

That was from bookface sorry, I have not bought it yet.
I am working till 7 and forgot it had come out and that I had not preordered it!

I picked this up from hmv today. Subject how your store is configured, i found it not in the designated 5 for £30 section but with the general blurays.
Can't help with pq as i can't watch it for a week, but it seems a very bare bones disc.

I watched some this last night. Yes the subs are on it.

From what I watched, I thought the PQ was awful

Mine has not had a section in months, it's all mixed in.
