I havent seen too many ppl talk about this one....
(hopefully there is not a thread on it for if there is, I'm sorry)

Anyways...like Diane Lane..like Richard Gere

Movie any good?

I liked it well enough. I saw it in theaters and bought it on DVD. It's a good one time viewing, I didn't find it nearly as interesting the second time around.

IMO this movie is AMAZING! if you have ever been cheated on by a lover you will be moved by this film. Pick it up it's one of my top 10 films.

interesting and of course Diane Lane rocks...
Liked thisone better than the Nights in Rodanthe crap... that was a rip-off of a truly superior Sparks work: Message in a Bottle!

IMHO it's Diane Lane's best screen performance, particularly the scene when she is travelling home on the commuter train. You don't see acting of that brilliance too often. I'll definitely be buying the BD.

Yeah...comes out Tuesday and can be had on Amazon for $20
I thought that was a reasonably good deal (I wish it was 15 though...and probably it will be in a month)
LIke I said though..I like both actors...and the subject material is a bit close to home.

Good movie. I'd recommend a rent, not too sure if it would have too much replay value in my collection.

I've heard many great things about this film...and it was award nominated or something...I am going to rent it first though, just cuz i haven't seen it yet.

Great film on infidelity. I recommend you get it on blu-ray.

Don't get me wrong, Diane Lane is SUPER-SIZZLING hot in this movie. But the movie itself is somewhat depressing (infidelity is very ugly and the movies does a good job of showing that), and it's just sort of, well... just 'meh.'

I agree but I kind of think that's what makes the movie good. I don't think it's the type of movie you'll watch a lot or even should lol...but I do think its worth having on blu. I look forward to getting it.

Yeah, its good and all but I have no desire to own it or watch it multiple times which for me is a pre-requisite to purchasing a title. So, its got rental written all over it. See it, enjoy it, and promptly forget it.

Falling in love with a married woman is like a death trap, but as shown in this movie it can be hard to resist the temptation, especially if she's drop dead gorgeous like Diane Lane.

Heck, Diane Lane is nearly in her 60's and still looks beautiful. If anyone wants to watch a recent movie with her, check out the Western drama "Let Him Go" with Kevin Costner.

I'm also going to watch "Vital Signs" considering she starred in it, too. Consumer reviews look decent.
