Thanks for the info on the conversion Everret.

Though there are a number of 3D conversion errors here and there (usually some of the crowd scenes where the depth is not correct based on the distance the character is standing, or just warping errors), and a few flat 2D shots that weren't converted, Padmaavat has generally good, medium layered 3D for most of it, and a number of high medium 3D shots, and the strong pop outs at the end of the film that popped out more than most 3D films I've seen in recent years for that 20 to 30 second sequence of rocks flying out of the screen.

Are there any BD3Ds of Indian titles? I was looking for some the other day and didn't have any luck. This title sounds like a good candidate for success in other countries, so I'm hopeful we'll see one.

Any news about this coming on Blu-ray 3D?

No news at this time. Usually with most films in theaters, the blu ray 3D is announced alongside the movie.

It's on Amazon Prime now and still no sign of a Blu-ray release?

Been surfing the web for any news of a 3D bluray release overseas with no luck so far. Anybody have better success? Its on bluray oversees but even Rahul only has 2D version.

Found a couple of sellers on ebay that have a pre-order of this blu-ray from India. 3D is nowhere to be found.
They all appear to be the same edition, even if Rahul’s specs mention 5.1 dts-hd when the other say 7.1 TrueHD in the back cover.
Shame. Really wanted this in 3D.
The last link has the best price available. Anyone getting this in 2D?

Hi grazina

Was very disappointed this 3D theatrical release was not coming out on Blu-ray. Rahul confirmed there were no plans. Not planning to get it knowing it was in 3D.
