There were kids playing games with each other in the aisles when I saw a non-kid movie a few months back (albeit outside the US, so I didn't go to management or anything). That was by far the worst theater experience I've had, and it didn't help that the movie ended up being super-meh.

Glad to hear this is getting good reviews, even from a friend of mine who's like me and has mostly disliked Pixar's recent output.

This movie will look great on UHD. The fight sequence between
[Show spoiler]Elastigirl and “the Screenslaver”
in particular will look insane with HDR.

This is easily my favorite Pixar and superhero movie. I was in awe and had a smile on my face every second. The Elastigirl action scenes were breathtaking and the family scenes were hilarious. Im gonna be seeing this a lot in theaters.

Saw this today with my wife and daughter - we loved it!! Right on up there with the 1st one, if not better!

Can’t wait to own this on UHD.

This is going to look stunning in 4K! I don’t think it was as good as the original, still fun though.

Finally saw it tonight. DOLBY CINEMA. VISION. ATMOS.... My goddddd.

The colors. Giacchino's score. Those scenes with
[Show spoiler]Jack Jack disappearing and you can hear his laughter and gigles
all over the theater... Incredible mix. If there ever was movie to take a non-believer to... this is it. Will make a great UHD release.

Loved the film, even more than the first one. I re watched the original and surprised how poor some of the original animation is now in comparison to the sequel. We've come a long way in 14 years. Agree with others the UHD will look great and hopefully equal the sound of the theater experience.

Glad to hear that Atmos has a good mix! Just got back from seeing the laser IMAX with 12-track and it sounded almost exactly the same as the OG 4K blu, with practically non-existent surrounds and strong subs only in a few key parts rather than throughout like most movies.

The audio did seem to be much lower than practically every other movie I've seen there, too. It was really hard to hear small details at times, much different than all my other experiences. Bad mix, or bad playback?

Sounded quiet in my theater, though the finale sounded fine, and surrounds were used excellently, especially Jack Jack. I watched in a cheap AMC Classic theater with only 5.1 sound. Barely anyone goes here typically, even during Avengers, but this theater was packed full of children. Awful experience, but good movie.

Saw this at a B&B "Grand Screen" with DTSX audio and it looked and sounded amazing. As others have said, the Jack Jack sequences sounded the best.

Want to see this one but heard it has some heavy strobe use. Those give me a bad headache these days, especially after having experienced several head injuries.

Watch at your own risk. Some are a brief few seconds long and others are much longer. 90 seconds I believe is the longest one, and with a fast paced fight scene going on as well, covering the entire screen, not just a small part or most of the screen. They're important to the plot, but they're there.

That Screenslaver scene (you know what I'm talking about if you've seen it) is going to look amazing in 4K. HDR should be great here.

Well, it’s an animated scene with a strobe effect, not an actual strobe, so the effect is not the same.

But I’m not you; only you can determine if it is reasonable to look down for a few seconds.

The film is certainly worth the risk, and the wait. Kids treated me for Dad’s Day in Dolby Cinema. The UHD should be a stunner.

even without the Dolby sauce (Vision or Atmos) the Uptown theater here in Washington DC is still 'the' place to experience a movie and 'The Incredibles 2' delivered! Pixar hits on all cylinders with a great story, action set pieces and animation!

Man... I am so disappointed. I am a huge Incredibles fan and so I was looking forward to this movie. I went to see this opening night with my wife and was met with such disappointment. Not in the movie itself, mind you, but the presentation. The projector(s) had issues because it was almost as if there were double images, just verrrrrrry slighty off. The sound was terribad as well. The front sound stage was wayyyyy too low and so the surround sound speakers were darn near excessive relatively speaking. There was no bass response, like none.

This is not the normal theater that I go to, but I still go here sometimes and have never experienced a presentation this bad from there, ever. Still, because of such a bad presentation, I was so distracted that I couldn't fully enjoy the film. I may need to watch this one again in my normal theater to get the better experience.

Unless this ends up as another Atmouse home mix.

The first Incredibles Atmos mix was fine.
