Hi

you can't anymore If you don't want a Item or Bid to much and won to ask the seller to offer it to the next higher bidder.

I know they changed a lot around but can't see it

I'm ready to take the strike becaues I think he had a friend raise the bid so he could get his money out of the Blu Ray

It's $24.99 in the store and the Bid went to $17.50US and the CDN Price is $21.00+$4.00 shipping.

I will just go to the store and buy it

If you bid on it, you should pay it... The auctioneer can offer it to the second highest bidder is he so wishes, you can ask. But I hope he leaves you with bad feed back, if you decide to take this route.

Yes, I know that sounds harsh. But you made an obligation to pay, now stick to it.

you can or ask the seller to send you a mutual agreement to relieve you of the bid and he gets his fees back. Its a pain but I always do that, not worth getting a negative over.

sent you a PM with rest

Yeah, part of the reason why eBay hasn't received any business from me for around a year now.

I try to avoid Ebay, thankfully when I sold an iPod and Xbox 360 before christmas. People overpaid and where clueless, but they give me positive feedback. They had no clue what HDMI was or anything (My Xbox, was and old one with out HDMI)... But I was not aware I could not leave negative feedback for the buyer... My only problem is with PayPal,

This happend to me once.. Sold 2 movies on ebay, guy didn't want them anymore so asked me for mutual agreement to stop the transaction. I agreed. Aslong as I get my fees back..I go with it. But that whole negative feedback is dumb..

Same here. I used to sell Anime and some camera gear on eBay. Now I just sell through forums. People are too stupid.

Great example as to what's wrong with the feedback system.

I try myself to avoid buying off eBay, but just gave in tonight. Ah well, at least I know I pay what I owe and leave postive feedback for sellers.

I try to avoid ebay as well, but sometimes it is the quickest way to get rid of something. I've noticed a big uptick in the amount of new/idiot buyers that apparently don't bother reading the product description or title for that matter. I sold a RROD xbox360 and in the title and description mentioned multiple times that it has a RROD and does not work. I was selling it for parts, or if someone knew how to fix it they could. Sold it to some kid for a $100 (it did have a HD and new DVD drive, plus controllers) and I get a call from him saying it doesn't work and if he could have his money back. Well duh it doesn't work, and no you can't have your money back. I did feel bad that he thought he was getting a working 360 but damn, read the description especially when I put it in big red letters.

But yeah, you bid on something, you should pay for it unless the seller really did try to hide something, or misrepresented the item like selling a picture of the item, or an empty box.
