Bad Trip 3D aka Paranormal Bad Trip 3D SBS Blu-ray (2016) [Region Free]

The French DVD and Blu Ray company Artus Films produced in 2016 the first Found Footage 3D movie : "Bad trip 3D" aka "Paranormal Bad Trip 3D".
The Blu Ray 3D has just been announced for a release later this year in France.

Features and details are yet to be announced.

Moderator note:
The disc has now been released in France. Though it is marked with the Blu-ray 3D logo, it's actually presented in side-by-side format and starts with a message asking you to switch to that setting on your TV, so if you can't do that, you can't watch it in 3D. The disc is also marked as region B but is in fact region free. English subtitles are included.

The French have a poor track record when it comes to making their releases English-friendly, so I'm not expecting much from the blu-ray, maybe forced subs if we're lucky...

Yes, I know. :-( I'll check if they plan to put English subs on this one or if there are plans to have an English friendly release somewhere in the world.

I spoke with one of the bosses at Artus Films and he confirmed, there be English subtitles.
The website is now confirming it

It is also expected that the Blu Ray 3D will be multi-zone but this will have to be confirmed when the disc is released in September.

this is native 3D and I have been told that it's a strong 3D, so we should expect a lot of great effects

Amazon France has an October 2nd release date for a 3d Blu Ray. It says English Audio, but isn't this a French film? Hopefully they meant English subs. It's listed as All Region. Is this the same edition that's currently for sale on Artus Films? They seem to imply theirs is 2d only;

Amazon.fr is wrong, the film is in French and there is english subtitles.
They are selling the very same disk than the one on the Artus films' website.

Typically Artus Films offers preorder. the disc is expected beginning of September.
Then it's released a month later, that's probably why Amazon.fr announces it for Oct 2nd.

I went to pre-order direct from Artus but the links you provided don't work any longer and when I do a search for the movie the website can't find anything. Is this still coming out? I'm looking forward to this one. Thanks for the help

Amazon.fr says it's coming October 2nd 2018. We just have to wait and see.

The UK release of 009 is in 3D and English-friendly.

Yes, they usually have a window of pre-order.
When window is over, you cannot order the title for few weeks from them and the title disappear completely from their site.
Then it's made available again to order.
Artus Films is a small company, that's the way they deal with pre-order.
i'll keep posted here when it's available to order.

I received my copy yesterday. :-)
I'll give you a full review in the next few days.
I plan to also check if it's region free or not.
I can already confirm that you can view the film in french with english subltitles

It's cheaper to buy directly from the company than Amazon France. They charge $4.90 shipping and $20 for the movie. The company website lists this as Region B with English subs and French Audio. I ordered one last week but hasn't arrived yet.
