Does it have English sub?

I’m not entirely sure, I would assume so, but Amazon’s page only mentions it’s in the English language for it’s audio.

I picked this up and popped it in just now--was on my radar for years but the first release was so expensive I never brought myself to pull the trigger.

No dice. I've been pushing the subtitle button and nothing happens. No subtitle/language menu on the main screen. No pop-up menu either.

I have the original release, and there were no subtitles on that disc either.

I prefer the cover of the original release, does this newer version have it on the other side as a reversible cover?
