Default Best X-Men in 4K HDR

I am in the mood for some X-Men in 4K + HDR:
Out of the three titles available in UHD, which one is considered to be the best version and 4K presentation?
Thanks!

Probably Apocalypse. However the other 2 are far superior movies.

X-Men First Class supposedly has the better 4K transfer?

Apocalypse is the best looking release, but Days of Future Past is probably the best one movie-wise.

First Class is way regular.

Deadpool and Logan are also great if you're going to count those.

I think he meant that the movies are superior stories.

Apocalypse isn't the best story, but visually, the movie looks pristine on 4k. One of the cleanest, crisp transfers out there.

I got apocalypse on sale, don't own the others on 4k, so can't speak to them. I thought I read some poor comments about 1st Class, so I never got that one.

Apocalypse and Logan both come from 4K Masters, and look pretty specatular. First Class and Days of Future Past are 2K upscales, DoFP looks better between the two, and happens to be a far superior film to FC.

I thought that 4K transfer aside, FC was the better movie, better story, better acting, better everything

The stakes in Days of Future Past are so much higher than any of the other films in the franchise, that it makes it more gripping and high tension for me... even on rewatches. The moments of levity really play well because of it.

Best of both worlds as far as cast and character ensemble goes. Even that "you poor man" moment between McAvoy's Xavier and High Jackman's Wolverine was an emotional culmination point for any fans of the franchise, and the end of the film had a lot of pay off from that through line too. Not to mention Xavier's mind reaching across time to counsel his own younger self. Chills.

It also gave birth to the Quicksilver musical number... though the one in AoA is probably cooler.

I almost never care about what's happening in First Class, though I do enjoy it just because it's X-Men.

That's my take anyway.

Heads up: Deadpool nor Logan don’t count. They’re spin-offs, not part of the main universe storyline.

I assume Deadpool isn't even intended as a spinoff taking place in the same universe as X-men since it's all meta and breaking of the fourth wall - even commenting on which actors plays Xavier in the movies - basically in the Deadpool universe X-men exists only as movies right?

Apocalypse, hands down. First Class is not impressive; stick with the Blu-ray.

Days of Future Past is the best movie and really the only one of the three I'd watch more than once. I bought First Class because Amazon had a rocking sale over the holidays where it was less than $10. Apocalypse isn't even interesting enough to watch once.

Therefore, Days of Future Past is the correct answer.

That's too bad because story-wise First Class to me was the most gripping. Why is the 4K version not as praised?

Agreed--- First Class' story wins by a mile for me. Plus, Matthew Vaughn's visual direction is far superior to Bryan Singer.

Not to mention the kick ass score.

Exactly! There is something gritty, deep, and epic about First Class that I did not quite catch in the other films. Now it's just a matter to see how the 4K disc pans out.
