I'm surprised WB didn't already put this out on 4K

Surprised to see these two being released. I expect it means the three available so far have done well in sales.

There just hasn't been any good reason to get these DC animated movies in UHD vs their blu-ray counterparts. Easy pass. I hope The Death of Superman changes things.

I actually really liked the BATGIRL prologue and preferred it to the rest of the film, which was a by-the-numbers adaptation of a comic that wasn't that great to begin with.

Wish they would have done The Dark Knight Returns instead.

It's really easy to ignore the added material if you want, just jump to where The Killing Joke begins in the comics, and end when the credits begin rather than watching the credits scene. I definitely agree the added material isn't the strongest, but it was cool to get a Batgirl story, and since they needed to stretch out to feature length, I would prefer they do something like that rather than adding a ton of filler to the Killing Joke story.

While getting a new release for a few dollars more on UHD makes sense, I don't think these animated DC movies will be a big enough upgrade to make it worth rebuying when I already have the Blu.

Don't hate this movie, thought it was OK. But no need whatsoever to upgrade.

I'd even take Batman Ninja over this wank. At least that was animated with some imagination.

They left all the wank to the script with that, I only carried on due to how Purdy it was.

No need to upgrade any of the DC animated movies unless there is a significant difference in quality on UHD. This is something I don't think we are going to see in these movies.
