Can anybody confirm the audio on the 3D Blu ray.
It would appear from articles on this forum, that the US release 3D will sport the Atmos track.
Any info much appreciated - plus thoughts ofcourse on the film itself

Not Atmos for the Aussie 3D version - it's DTS HD MA - 7.1 (if I recall)


Same with Tomb Raider - and more than like will be with Rampage - Atmos on 3D is very rare here.



as for 3D - saw this in the cinema - THIS IS THE ONLY WAY to watch this film !!

UK is DTS-HD 5.1 (according to Amazon's image of the back cover). Given that it's Warners, that means it's almost certainly the same specs worldwide.

Thanks for that. I did look at that back cover on the UK site, but am curious after reading https://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=23368 stating Atmos on the US 3D.
Makes it so hard to choose which version to lay out the hard earned on!

From what I can tell, that press release is a bit inaccurate. They did the same for their last few 3D releases.

Everything should be assumed to be inacurate until the disc is in a machine and checked.

At least the 2D BD is Atmos. Now that our options of purchasing a possibly superior version from OS have been lessened, we are at the mercy of the local

I own this disc and popped it in for a look - I don't run a sound setup atm, only my TV speakers and in the disc menu all it says is English -.- However the AU disc is definitely the same as the US - FBI warnings at startup, PG13 rating screen before theovie starts. The AU 3D disc doesn't have an AU classification code printed on it either.

Could be that you made my day. The US and CA version should have German audio and subs. Looking forward to my JB HiFi order in a few days if it's really the US/CA version.

US is already confirmed as having identical specs to the Australian disc, no German at all:

English: Dolby Atmos
English: DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1
French (Canada): Dolby Digital 5.1
Spanish: Dolby Digital 5.1
Portuguese: Dolby Digital 5.1
English: Dolby Digital 5.1 (Audio Descriptive)

Those are the specs for the 2d version in the US and CA.
A Polish website mentions the US and CA 3d specs:

Well the US disc comes out in one week, that's when their disc specs will be confirmed.

Right now the AU release is out and specs have been confirmed for the release here.

I have the 3D disc bought from JB Hi-Fi - so a local release. Not exactly sure how to check stuff in the player, but this is the label -



I seem to have cropped a bit off the side. The first box is for the 3D feature, and the second box down is for the regular bluray feature. The title comes with both regular and 3D disks.

To check stuff in your player, your Blu-Ray remote should have some kind of INFO button. If you press that, most players display audio details. Sometimes you have to press it twice to bring up a second lot of information.

If you want, chuck the disc in and scroll through the audio options.

Ready Player One (BD) also includes a Japanese DD5.1 track, but you can only get to it via changing your language/country settings.

Hi guys,

I have the Aussie version of Ready Player One. I have checked both discs and can confirm the 3D disc only has DTS 5.1 while the the 2D disc has both Dolby Atmos 7.1 and DTS 5.1 soundtracks.
