Default Dts?

hey guys, i looked at the forum before to make sure that this hasnt been posted before, and if it has im sorry.

my question is simple, why dont they put DTS encoding on ALL blu ray dvds? it sounds SO much better and they easily have the room avail on the movie with the space on the blu ray disc. does someone know why? its really annyoing me that i can get pulp fiction on DVD with DTS, but i cant seem to find a good movie on blu ray that supports it!

This is a repeat post. Try using the search function at the top of the page.
In short, some movies are made for both HD-DVD and Blu-ray and so to cut costs, they make it the same for both, whatever HD-DVD can handle cause it is more limited than Blu.
Also, Uncompressed audio is the best hands down, but it is huge and takes a lot of space. Some movies might want to add extras and not be able to fit it all in with that, other films might just be too long.

Most have PCM or the newer, lossless Dolby TrueHD/DTS-HDMA, all of which sound better than DVD's Dolby Digital and DTS.
