Not sure how many this will interest but I remember seeing some talk about WWE realeses on Blu..

The 2009 Royal Rumble will be realesed here in the UK in April.

Not the official cover obviously, but Silvervision is known to announce DVD release a lot further in advanced than WWEShop.com will, so this will more than likely also be a US release. It should be annouced about 2 weeks after the PPV airs this Sunday.

I own a lot of their Tagged Classics on DVD and they are definitely region locked, and their release of the WrestleMania 24 Blu-Ray was region locked as well.

I believe it wasn't in their best interest to do that. Blu-Ray's are still pretty high priced, and at the amount of PPV's they do a year, that would be way too many BD's they put out that might not sell as high just yet because of the prices. Right now, DVD is all they need to worry about. If anything, at least the big 4 PPV's of the year. I would like to see them release every PPV on BD, but we'll see once No Way Out is done. If they release a BD for No Way Out, then I believe all of 2009's DVD releases will also be BD releases.

No it's 2009. Kozlov wasn't in WWE in 07.

No, since early 2008, their PPV DVD's have been released in widescreen.

NO! its the 2007 cover, look it up if you still dont believe me, they have photoshopped alot including Kozlov into the cover, Umaga has just come back and he wasnt in the RR 09 but Umaga was fighting Cena in the RR 07 notice at the bottom left Cena has him locked.

Similar concept, but very different. Benoit is in the 2007 cover, Jeff Hardy is on the 2009 cover.
