Region B is probably the safest bet, since it's UK only.

But then again their recent release of Ramrod (UK only) apparently plays in Region A players.

Wish I could be more helpful!

Hmm, I see the Arrow disc has lower gamma than the other 3 Blu-rays on Caps-a-holic here: http://www.caps-a-holic.com/c.php?a=...8&l=0&i=2&go=1

Is that not usually a mistake at the encoding stage?

The oddest film Arrow has released, imo. Feels very random. I mean, it's a decent film, but it's nothing special and does not even have a cult following. What's next? Street Kings?

I agree with you completely. I enjoyed the film but so surprised to see Arrow release it. Still might pick it up eventually if it goes on sale.

Picked up 'Rampart' bluray the other day for a quid at the pound shop- another film about crooked LA cops starring Woody Harrelson and Ben Foster which is an excellent watch and a better film than 'Dark Blue' in my opinion.

Yes my friend, Rampart is a definitely an excellent film and better than Dark Blue. It might be Harrelson's finest performance to date. I do not like Ben Foster in it, though. He is a bit cringe in that, and the fact that he is hardly in it is a good thing! It's a shame because he's usually a good intense actor, but he is overboard there.

You never quite know with odd titles like this - might be that it was packaged with something else that Arrow were interested in.

I thought it was a decent film for a watch but I doubt I'll return to it too often, and would agree that it's an odd Arrow title...

Street Kings is a great film, with excellent pacing, taut writing and a choice cast, so an Arrow release would be most welcome in my home.

I agree with you on the movie, but there's nothing wrong with the Fox release, even though it's 10 years old.

At the end of the movie where Kurt Russel is giving a speech and reveling some secrets....the audio seems out of sync....or poorly redubbed.....is it just me or did notice this someone else?
