I'd love to see this remastered in 4K, especially considering that it was shot on 35mm film and therefore should have an amount of detail that would make a 4K DI worthwhile. What do you guys think?

if they could do a decent audio remix with the original 8-channel SDDS mix I'd be a happy camper.

I bet it'll be sometime next year, to tie into the incidental hoopla which will come from the Vampire Chronicles on Hulu.

Definitely in my top ten most wanted, as I'm a huge Vampire Chronicles fan. This one desperately needs a new transfer. Also, I hope we see some deleted scenes. There are photos of Tom Cruise as a half-burned Lestat in the catacombs of Paris. I Would love to see that scene, among others. I think with the AMC series coming next year, this is a possibility for 2022 I think.

Ok. Good news! A remastered DCP is currently playing in theaters in England. I hope that means a disc later in the year.

I watched my BD yesterday. Lossy sound and very poor PQ. Dull colours and fussy image. I need the sunrise in the well in HDR….
