Dear MVD, please DON'T make last minute changes to anything that will cause audio or sync issues ala Lionheart. I know you strive as hard as possible to put out excellent product. Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, D.O.A., and Return of Swamp Thing are among your best releases for sure. I do understand things happen when you have to work with less than optimal materials (Black Eagle wasn't a very good release, but that was due to Imperal only having a soft DNR'd element to work with and a new transfer wasn't possible) and deal with legal bits to comply with the licencors requests.

If any content on future releases or Imperial owned content must be removed or altered due to contractual obligations or legal issues, please let us know and we will certainly tolerate a delay if need be for the best product possible

I only managed to see the film once during its theatrical run back in 1994, attempted to watch the film again with a buddy of mine from school at the time but the film was long gone from theaters....I recall DD played for roughly 2-3 weeks in the San Diego area where I was living at the time.

Easily, a Day 1 purchase for me.

This is one of those movies my brother and I would watch on repeat during summer break. We had a satellite with movie channels from different regions of the country, so when the movie ended on one station, we could swap over to the next timezone's station, and watch it again. We did it with a lot of movies, but this one and another Mark Dacascos movie Only the Strong, are the ones I remember the most.

Day one on this for sure. Super happy with this annoucment.

I imported a few months ago, I will STILL pick this up. I’ve got a LOT of guilty pleasure love for this movie. I’ve owned, and blasted, the soundtrack for years (its on Spotify, ps). Can’t wait to pick this up

I have the German release, though I think I only paid a few Euros for it so I'll definitely pick this up for new bonus features and to support North American boutique labels.

Will this be a new transfer, or a new encode of the same transfer used for other region releases? Or the same encode exactly?

German blu release here too, and I still have the original dvd release as well (snapper case ftw!)..so very interested to see how this one turns out. We shall see, MVD is really coming out with some interesting releases. Keep it up!

I have the german blu that i got early in the year. hoping this has a new transfer and some new stuff. a new interview with Dacascos would certainly make it worthwhile.
