Season One says Series 1 under the title.

I wish these were region free since Syfy doesn't support Blu-Ray that much in the USA anymore.

i do not think those Bold letters of "SEASON" will be on the the boxset. Only Series as its UK release they use the word Series instead of season. I think those covers are not finalized yet.

Yeah, these look like placeholders. The IFCO logo looks like it was copy and pasted from Google images.

Great news for UK fans. I have the Aussie releases of the first two seasons, but I’ll definitely get the Season 3 UK edition.

where do you see that

i really can't see a new release being lossy.. The video should also be 1080p of course instead of 1080i

Plus that big black line on the left side of s3.

Since IDW doesn't seem to care about doing more, I'll get these eventually if they're region free. If s1 is any better quality I might even rebuy it.

I got S1 & S2 on Friday.

(1) Both say "Season" -- and only "season" -- on the cover. And on the spine. There might've been mock-ups released, and not ultimately used, that said "series" or both.

(2) Both say (though I haven't confirmed yet) "DTS 5.1 HDMA" for the audio.

(3) Both say (though I haven't confirmed yet) that they have English subtitles, for those of you who need or want them.

(4) Both are Region B only. Well, at least not Region A compatible, as I haven't tested for Region C yet.

As some of you probably know already, IDW is doing a Kickstarter for S2, which will be 2 discs instead of one, but will probably not actually be shipped for several months.

I have S3 on pre-order. Looking forward to that next month.

Thanks for the details. Can you confirm if all of the discs are 1080p (not 1080i) and whether any of them contain 50hz content? Thanks!!

Both sets are 1080/60p, including the menus.

And, yes, the audio is DTS-MA, and there are English subtitles (and only English subtitles).
