Can someone please help. I keep seeing it mentioned here and there and even slightly hinting at in the review. But is the song Take On Me at the end no longer in the movie or just not in the super duper cut or what's going on? By far one of the best scenes and music? Haven't picked up my copy and it's driving me crazy!! If it's not, is there any reason as to why? Thanks for any and all help!!!

My brother got the Blu-ray and we watched the theatrical cut this evening, and "Take On Me" is still at the end. I think I saw it's only missing from the extended cut.

Just finished watching the unrated cut and it's so much better than the theatrical (which I also loved) IMHO. They really cut a lot of great stuff out of the theatrical version. Also I oddly found the cinematography looked a lot better on the blu ray than when it was in theaters. Much richer looking.

The theatrical cut is unchanged and keeps Take On Me from MTV Unplugged. The Super Duper F... Cut replaces it with the acoustic version of Ashes.

I just FFed through the theatrical to see if the X-Men appearance was something added because it kind of felt like it wouldn't have been in theatrical, but it was... and noticed Cable's time travel in theatrical, it's zoomed in more on the people in the truck and he just kind of pops up behind them, but in extended he basically crashed through time which I thought was a better scene. I never saw it in theaters but kind of don't see the point in watching the theatrical now.

Yeah the Cable scene is much better in the extended cut. There's more character development too to where characters don't feel shoehorned in and not to mention all the fantastic action/graphic violence that have been added back in. Just felt like the film flowed so much better in the extended cut.

Oh yeah. Be sure to stick around for more Easter eggs during and after the end credits

I had some issues with the timeline introduced in the extended cut in regards to Russell, but I liked it overall. Wasn't anything absolutely different to me, however.

It is not completely removed, but it is not prominent and is background in the super-duper cut. I loved the cut, but I am not so sure I would call it extended, as some jokes were changed. Some I found funnier in the theatrical, some I found funnier in the super-duper cut. I will most definitely watch both cuts, which is something I never say of multiple cuts of films.

It's MoviesAnywhere, which gives you both UV and iTunes as long as you've synced all those accounts.

Those Target exclusive versions are hot! They had at least 30 yesterday when the store opened (only 4 of the 4K ones though). Had to swing through again today for other life stuff, and they had exactly 0 of either left!

Best Buy still had plenty of steelbooks, both 4K and standard. Didn't need to stop there, but since it's across the street from Target, I figured I might as well take a look.

Yeah I decided to hold onto my Target 4K exclusive mainly because it's apparently quite limited. And I also don't think I'm buying any new releases til Solo (which I'm using an RZ cert for), so I can afford to splurge a bit.

Sewing up the mouth was because Wade was sufficiently annoying in the beginning of the movie, and they didn't want Weapon X to be some chatty Cathy. But as far as real-world reasons, chalk it up to bad writing and (moreso) being hamstrung by a PG-13 rating. There's only so much you can do with Deadpool outside the realm of R.

But the Super Duper Cut is 14 minutes longer than the Theatrical, so calling it an extended cut is appropriate.

without seeing this in the theater, I'm thinking my first viewing of this will be the "extended" version. I'd like to watch both, but that may not happen for awhile, so hoping I make a good first choice.

Went with BB steel for what it's worth. Target looks cool, but would rather expand on steel collection. Jesus, I remember 4-5 years ago when steel was so rare, sometimes only imports. Now it's like every release.

That's a big reason why Steels have lost a lot of appeal for me. They just aren't that collectible anymore.
