Found this on twitter... https://twitter.com/Cakes_Comics/sta...42531746533377

Matt Ferguson doing new artwork for the upcoming Autumn releases of these 4K movies. Says "Brand New 4K Restoration" for each film's poster.

I would assume they would be released on disc/digital shortly after the theater run which is probably limited in itself.

And yes I know there were individual threads for foreign releases of Prince of Darkness 4K, Escape from New York 4k, and The Fog 4K, but I don't think I saw a thread for They Live 4K, and I was lazy and didn't wanna make individual threads

And for you steelbook collectors...

https://twitter.com/Cakes_Comics/sta...42541045358593

I assume they would look like the artwork up above and match the look of the previous shout factory releases.

Well I just tweeted him on Twitter to confirm this. And also I mean...did you not read my initial post? I stated that I did see there were already 3 threads for the foreign releases of 3 of these...

this isn't the international sub forum. Don't get pissy because you made the mistake posting in the wrong section.

If an American only release was posted in the international section it would have been locked in seconds

His response on twitter to my question on 4K UHD disc releases in the US...

Quote:
I think so, but don't hold me to that. I heard it will be collectors editions with the soundtracks as well.
https://twitter.com/Cakes_Comics/sta...22940404637697

Obviously it's just speculation at this point, so feel free to move this if you want.

Sorry for trying to contribute? You guys need to relax a little bit.

Also the name of this forum is "Ultra HD Blu-Rays and 4K Movies". Even without confirmation of US released UHD discs, these are still "4K Movies" so how is this out of place? #askingforafriend

Yes and there are sub forums in every forum. Once you click on the UHD forum if you look at the top you'll see International and 4k wish list, which are the 2 sub forums in the 4k UHD forum. 4k movies on BD isn't the same format as 4K UHD, biggest difference is HDR and DV.

exactly. These are confirmed as UHD releases despite the previous comment, people don't care to actually read. And thanks for this post don't know why people have full blown periods over forum posts.

If Shout! Scream! can be forever prohibited from releasing any Carpenter movie in 4K, I will gladly pay $3500 per title.
