Apparently, Elle plays a teenager who has an empty life and broken family. She enters an international singing competition to try and change all of that.

There's no release date yet for the US. But here's the teaser:

Well, I'm into anything with Elle Fanning. She could be reading a book on her patio the entire time, and I'd probably still go see it.

But this looks cool, and I'm interested to see how Minghella does with his first film, too. He also wrote it.

Looks like it could have similarities for sure. But I'm fairly certain it won't be anywhere near as F'ed up as ND.

I love that movie, and one of the things I love about it is how messed up it is. OTOH, not surprising considering it's Refn.

But yeah, I got a certain vibe like that as well. It will be interesting to see the full trailer, whenever that will be.

I'm surprised she accepted this role. It does evoke the earlier film quite a bit, although I'm guessing this won't become into a slasher film in the third act, lol.

Now that I've seen the full trailer, I don't see any real similarities beyond competition. But that describes like 90% of films ever made.

I keep replaying the trailer to listen to it. Not an Elle Fanning fan either but I can't wait for this.

I have watched the trailer like 3 times. Didn't realize I'd be so excited for this but it looks gorgeous and has music I like. Plus Elle. Can't wait.
