Blu-ray Samurai

I just upgraded my PS4 to the Spider-Man PS4 Pro.
I did the system transfer and that all moved fine. I'm now attempting to connect my External HD that I was using before. I keep getting a message that I need to update the system software to use external storage. Problem is that I've done that. The message keeps popping up and then it says I have the latest software and won't do anything. On my old PS4 I had the Beta 6.00 firmware. I no longer seem to have the ability to get to that firmware on the Pro. Could there be some kind of issue because of that? I have like 800gb of stuff on my HD right now. I really don't want to reformat it and lose everything. Anybody have this kind of issue when upgrading systems and have any idea of what I can do? |

I’m thinking without a way to get that beta firmware on the new system you’re screwed. I don’t remember (since 5 was my last beta) but don’t you get an email for a download link for the betas or is it a code and then the beta sits in your download history or purchase history section?

All of my save data is on my system so I won't really lose anything of value so I started fresh and reformatted it and now the drive is being detected again. I'll to reinstall my games but that's no big deal. Now I'm playing the waiting game on Spider-Man, which is taking forever. I don't think I'll get much time in tonight now. |
