I still haven't seen it. Somehow the previews for it just seemed boring and I was getting tired of Marvel at that moment, but I do know it got all those solid reviews.
Anyway I can't comment on it, obviously. So leave that one out of my rankings.

yeah and now that we finally had a tech to deliver top home 3D, passive polarized 4k OLEDs, they quit in the U.S.!
the rush it when it wasn't ready and then pull it just as they finally are beginning to slowly get the tech that makes it actually work in the home, into homes

I was also disgusted, as I said, that many IMAX theaters in my region only showed the 2D version of Ant-Man And Wasp! Why? This was one of the films actually truly made to look best in 3D. The only 3D showings in my area were on some dingy, old bulb, Real3D screens that I didn't feel like going to.

I just got the same email. This stinks, seeing how the US version comes out almost 2 months earlier! This will also be the 3rd straight MCU film to have a much later release in the UK. Could they be trying to get those of us, who import the 3D version, to double dip?

Lol at least you can see the movie theatrically earlier. We have to wait two months. That said I still didn't bother seeing this theatrically.

I thought it seemed kind of late. If another region gets the 3d out a lot earlier at the same price point I'll cancel my UK order and go with someone else

US version? I thought Disney/Marvel wasn't doing USA 3D Blu-ray releases anymore?

They're referring to the 2D blu ray.

I understand they delayed this theatrically, outside the US, due to the World Cup. But Black Panther and Infinity War both released in UK theaters before the US and their blu-ray releases were still 3-4 weeks later than their American counterparts.

Assuming the Indian version doesn't get crappy HR audio it usually has the same release date as the US and can be a good alternative for those who don't want to wait.

Until I can order from Amazon India the prices on Ebay are ridiculous for the Indian version, especially since he charges $21 CDN shipping per movie to Canada lol, bring the total to $73.55 CDN for Antman Wasp 3d standard case edition. My current Amazon UK order with shipping included is $32.20 CDN. I've noticed the Brazilian and Thai versions usually come out within a week of the Indian at a fraction of price. I'll grab one of those if they come out in October

Where do you source the Brazilian and Thai versions from?

It'd ridiculous if this Dec. 3rd shit sticks, the usual is 4 week after US release. Guess that world cup theatrical push-back IS to blame. Goddammit

Note: I think the only reason Thor Ragnarok's UK BD came out earlier was because it also theatrically came out earlier and this all being due to it being a mostly UK produced film maybe or something.

Agreed.
So the UK release seems to be set for December 2018. That's a longer wait, but looking forward to the blu ray 3D. It's a relief this one is going to be on blu ray 3D because of the strong 3D throughout, and hopefully many more ahead from Marvel's awesome 3D lately.

I have this on order through Amazon UK but it is still showing as a Region 2 disc only. I totally get the fact that, based on history, it should be region free but does Amazon UK usually correct the listing at some point or do some Region Free 3D movies get shipped still reading that they are Region 2 only?

I also looked at the Zavvi listing and there is a shot of the back cover but I'm wondering if that is just a mock-up because there is no region information on it at all... Unless I'm missing it.

I believe it's next to the runtime...

It's obviously pretty small on the above image, so I can understand why you'd miss it, especially if you don't know what to look for, but I'm 99% sure that this is what's off to the right of the runtime...

That means it's region free (granted it could just be a mock-up or whatever, but either way I'm confident it'll end up being Region Free like pretty much every single other Disney title).

i.e. anyone who pays any attention to Zavvi and Amazon region coding might as well just use a Magic 8 ball since it would be correct more often.

If they say region free then it's correct 95+% of the time
If they say Region B then it's correct 15-20% of the time
If they say Region 2, they're wrong 100% of the time

I don't remember which movie, but I even have a disc marked region B on the package that is all region. If you're hesitant, just watch the thread titles here.
