Canada Requiem For A Dream (Can. Release)

Seems like every other week that one of my favorite movies are being released somewhere but the US. Its really starting to get to me Not sure if I'll pick this up, the whole french cover and menu really turn me off.
Here's just a few off the top of my head-
Requiem for a dream
Sin City
Seven
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
12 Monkeys
Fight Club
Night of the Living Dead
Trainspotting
Leon

Sin City should be getting a release date shortly. Fight Club has a chance to be released when the Curious Case of Benjamin Button releases on Blu. A lot of the releases outside of the U.S. have bad PQ most of the time. I always wait for the U.S. release

French packaging? If there's french on there it's in tiny print under the english, it's not that big a deal.

The majority of those that you list haven't even come out yet on Blu-ray in Canada.

I think the list is suppose to represent titles released in other countries other than here in the U.S. not just Canada

Well, the euro release of RFAD was preety bad in the picture department. Since the Canadian release is Alliance, I would expect a great A/V presentation with 0 extras.

Remember that importing is our friend.

That simply isn't true. It seems the bulk of Alliance releases have very similar PQ to its American counterparts. I will be importing this from Canada for sure, its a brilliant film.

Requiem is a wonderful movie, one of the best I've ever seen! That being said, I doubt I'll buy this on Blu. I agree with everybody here, it's not exactly a movie to watch over and over. It's just too disturbing to me.

Couldn't you just print out a new cover for the Canadian releases?

Great movies entertain me, they remind me why i love film so much. This is one of those examples. Requiem for a Dream is a movie I would watch over and over and over again. Great film is great film whether it is disturbing or not.

That's why Canada rules, although I am only interested in Requium for a Dream if it's the directors cut.

If you are that stubborn you can't get past the damn French writing you deserve to wait. Would you like freedom fries with your Blu Ray.

If you still want to do cocain or heroine after watching Requiem for a Dream or Trainspotting your most likly already an addict. But if you want to try cocain or heroine for the first time after seeing these fims you should be sent to an insane asylum.
