A bit of a strange marketing push so far from release, this is the sort of thing you only really learn anything substantial about a couple of months prior.

Loved the Disney burn at the start..

..Movie looks nuts, and borderline terrible at times, but seems like an ideal role for Reynolds to do his thing, so I'm down

For Independence Day weekend? I think it'll do good. I think the only thing it's competing against is a Minions movie, and Top Gun 2 in its 2nd week. This has a lot of the over the top shenangans that people love from Deadpool, so it should bring that crowd in too.
