There were like 5 different previews for this shown before my viewing of The Nun on Sunday and now I feel like I don't need to see it anymore. I've seen the entire thing already. I get it.

5! sheesh!! we had only two before 'The Nun' this afternoon.

Tonight was an early screening of the movie with Bradley Cooper in attendance over at the AFI Silver - wish I had won a couple of tix to that --- oh well ... [sigh]

Man, they're pushing these movies out on the home market faster than the Klumps at an all you can eat buffet. What gives? two and half months is not that much time in theaters. I can't believe it's going to be that crowded of a marketplace this season. So far of what little I've seen nothing looks amazing aside from Venom and this.

If this ends up being the commercial and critical/awards juggernaut that it's supposed to be, there's no way in hell it comes home early January. Maybe they'll drop it towards the end of January to capitalize on Oscar nominations, but a more realistic expectation would be February or even early March, especially if Best Picture and/or Director/Actor/Actress look likely.

Seeing it tonight in Dolby Cinema, I hope it lives up to the hype. The marketing for this has been stellar.

Really?! If so, I hope A Star is Born fails miserably. I don't care for Lady Gaga, but had interest in seeing this movie. However, what her fans are doing, if true, is plain disgusting. But then I guess that makes sense.
