How often is source material directly marched by the adaptation? They could use the same words and play it for comedy. Can you guarantee that the book is directly adapted into the movie, or did other writer add its spin to it?

So this is not even in theaters yet (hits Friday, October 19) and there is already a December Blu-ray date. That doesn't sound good?

He also wrote the screenplay, but is credited under a pseudonym since he felt the director wasn't very faithful to the script he wrote.

Oh I liked this but only saw a pre-order for the blu-ray on Amazon. Glad to see it's coming on UHD too.

It's one of those movies that is only released in a select theaters and but is released digitally for $6.99 the same day. You can watch at home now.

This premiered back in March at SXSW and was screened as recent as the LA Film Festival in September.

It's an okay film, nothing terrible, but nothing amazing. Just simply okay.

Interesting release strategy. Image is seemingly looking to leverage this in the (packaged media) home vid market after what appeared to be a very limited theatrical release. As noted already, we can watch this via official streams already.

There's no indication on the box art, database entry, or Amazon listing that there is a digital copy. RLJ/Image doesn't do them.
