‘Harley Quinn’: DC Digital Service Orders Animated Series About Comic Book Villainess From ‘Powerless’ Trio

So if Robbie voices Harley, does that mean that the series is DCEU canon? Or is this part of their whole "some stuff is DCEU, other stuff isn't" "strategy"?

I have to say, did not see this coming. If they can get Margot Robbie I'm ok with it but I don't see this being DCEU canon.
My only concern, albeit minor, the guys who made Powerless are making this. While I didn't hate the show, it wasn't a great show either (could've been way better than it was)

I'm doubting this will be DCEU canon. It'll likely just be an attempt to attract more people.

The announcement regarding this series makes me feel like it's an attempt to capitalize/challenge Fox/Marvel's upcoming Deadpool animated series. Both are focused on breakout characters. in animation, and aimed at adults.

Even then, I'm perfectly fine with it. I'm thrilled to see more series being developed for DC's streaming service and further adult superhero animation.

I'm up for it, as long as the animation has mostly smooth movements unlike the most recent animated films (for example, Justice League Dark's movements looked atrocious with frames dropping so bad that it look like a student animation project), nice looking visuals, good voice acting, and good writing. Sounds like it could be a blast. Also, I hope they go full adult and don't try to hold anything back, but of course don't go overboard either.

Has it occured to the powers to be that continuing the BTS series with the same writers, producers, artists and actors would get fans to fork over the subscription fees for the DC Universe App much faster?

This, the animation looks cheap and the voice is all wrong, that fact you can reconize it as Cuoco is a negative for me when it comes to character voices
