This is incredible news although don't get your hopes up that Arrow and Warner have a similar relationship as SF/Warner.

Arrow reached out to Friedkin regarding this release. Warner will sometimes make exceptions and licence out titles to smaller companies if the director (or another important figure) asks them to.

Wow, that's a big title off people's worldwide want lists. I think that this and Ringu are both bigger unreleased titles than pretty much anything they've done in the last couple years.

That was a fairly common interrogation tactic in NYC back then (confirmed by Sonny Grosso). Have another officer come into the room dressed in a ridiculous outfit - while the cops pretend not to notice - give the perp a few shots and then walk back out. If the guy tries to testify about what happened, his description will sound insane.
