Wasn't going to upgrade my Disney blus to 4K but as a steelbook collector I'm going to have to at least get this 1! TLK is my all time favourite.

Zavvi always says an item is sold out until the pre-order goes live, makes no sense but that's just how they do things.

I love concept art, but this layout looks unattractive to me. I do like the title treatment on the spine, though. Very clear and clean.

Fantastic look. All the hand drawn character sketches plus a background concept painting for the interior. The “cave painting” on rear is classic IMO.

This is 1000 times better than the bluray steelbook release from last year.
Why isn’t this coming to Best Buy?

Dull design imho. Much prefer the Zavvi Lenti from last year, except for the spine.

interesting to see the difference in reactions each time theres a new steelbook art. everything from love to vomit. i like this, its not AMAZING but im a big fan of the inside art, also the only lion king steelbook i have is the bestbuy one thats mostly black and its my worst condition steelbook with large dents so i welcome this replacement.

I was really hoping this would be a Steelbook version of the USA 4K Slipcover which is finally based on the magnificent theatrical poster

especially as the UK slipcover is different. One day... One day.

I agree with those things... Problem is the two faces on the front. Doesn’t do either character justice and doesn’t seem to fit the overall aesthetic, to my eyes.
(Also kind of implies the film is mainly about their relationship, they’re equal stars here like the Face-Off poster of something.)

Yep. The spine of their Lenticular Steel was a disaster. Thing is, the UK 4K Slipcover achieves what you say and manages to use the Lion King font...
