It depends, I think the Target Steelbook is clean and nice but if you're a fan of this type of art, that's a really good looking steel.

At $34 before shipping, the price is steep and it's not even a 4k.

It was just ~$50+shipping at release date. Better be happy it dropped this low this quick

Exterior art is amazing but they kept that same interior art, which isn't bad but could've been better.

Amazon Japan doesn't even ship to the US, so how was that even possible anyway?

The default one was sold by someone else but fulfilled by Amazon. It wasn't able to be shipped to US. However there was an Amazon option that was just a couple yen more.

Actually it's back down and available from Amazon again...

I've bought quite a few things from Amazon Japan. Not only do they ship to the US but they ship very fast.

When did that change? I have a friend who lives in Japan that had to buy a few things for me a few years ago that I couldn't get anywhere else for a decent price.

I couldn't tell you. My first order from them was about three years ago. I've placed several orders since. As far as I've been a customer I've never had an issue ordering from them.

It has to be sold directly by Amazon. The "Fulfilled by"s don't work

I'm not sure how I didn't know that. Probably because I dismissed them as an option in 2015 when I was trying to get Japan's exclusive Inception steelbook. I ended up getting it on eBay for a decent (enough) price.

And nah. For as amazing as that steel is, the movie is "meh" at best. Not worth it to me, sadly.

They've got so many great blurays we can't get here. I've picked up Orca, King Kong ('76), The Abominable Snowman (6 minutes edited out...grrrr), The Beastmaster, and my prized 4k uhd of Shin Godzilla. You better know your credit card limit before you place an order
