Agreed, I've been buying from Amz.jp for going on 4 years now and never a problem shipping to Canada AS LONG AS it's actually Amazon doing the selling.
Note: you do need a separate password with them though, as your Amz.com password, which typically works with every other Amazon world site, won't work with Japan's. Not a biggie though.

At $34 before shipping, the price is steep and it's not even a 4k.

The Target steelbook is nothing compared to this one.
