If you have a PC then just press the "Print Screen" button and then go into the paint program and press "Cntrl+V" to paste your screen shot.

If you have a Mac then click the spotlight in the top right of your screen and type "Grab".
Like this type of screenshot?

DON'T USE GRAB!!! GRAB SUCKS!!! There is a better, more flexible way of getting screen captures:
  1. Command (the "Apple" key) + shift + 3 = full screenshot.
  2. Command (the "Apple" key) + shift + 4 = user-definable screenshot.

The first way is good if you want a quickie screen of your entire desktop. The second way is good if you want to get just a portion of your desktop, as a crosshairs pops up after you press all those keys, after which time you can select the portion of the screen you want to capture after you start your mouse-click.

Good luck!

I'm a shortcut key jedi, dude.

Another one you may or may not know is the alt + apple + "+" for zooming in; same combo but with "-" for zooming back out. I never use really use that, but it trips people out when you bust that one out. It can be helpful for when you're trying to view a product online in a larger size when the retailer doesn't have a "click to view larger image" option. It's basically a magnifying glass, but it follows your mouse around.

You might have to paste that screen shot into paint like I said and then save that picture as a .jpg or .gif and then go into your powerdvd and import that picture.

I'm using TotalMedia Theatre and it's great, the only thing I haven't figured out yet is how to move frame by frame.

PowerDVD has it's own screen grab option, its a small camera icon on the menu bar at the bottom.

make sure you first go into configuration/player/advanced options/snapshots.
to change the default to (capture to file) and choose your location to save file.
the default is (Capture to clipboard)

Currently, you cannot take a screen shot of a Blu-ray when it's playing from the disc.
Between the copy protection and hardware acceleration, all you get is a black screen.

PowerDVD's "Capture frame" button changes to Popup Menu, and ArcSoft TMT's "Capture image" button greys out(doesn't work).

There is a way, but it cannot be discussed here as that would be against the rules.

You're using Leopard, no? Make sure you're not just increasing the magnification of text in a document; the alt + apple + + method is for zooming in on the entire screen. Check it in your Universal Access tab in System Preferences:
