Not the movie but the release. Not one extra

**** the digital disc give us some extras on this movie.

BTW the movie is awesome.

Extras would had been nice, ditto for lossless sound. However, the movie and the PQ are great.

I agree this is a magnificant movie and deserverd a better release. NL should be ashamed of themselves for this disc.

The UK (Uni) and FR (Metropolitan) versions only have one extra (Making of). Kind of weird that outside of that Making Of, there are no other extras on the different versions.

when the movie is awesome, the transfer is awesome , the audio is awesome then F**k the extras I say !

Therefore Mongol is anything but dreadful

Yeah...no offense but Mongol is most certainly NOT a dreadful BD. For whatever reason, these studios always go cheap on the extras. If a studio committed to going BD on the whole 9 yards, they'd get a reputation with fans who would be willing to pay a couple bucks more to studios who only issue quality releases.

If any of you guys have a region free player and really want a lossless track, get the UK Universal release. It has a DTS-HD -MA track. Universal region locked this one to region B, I'm afraid.

They are waiting for a double dip. Which I think will almost certainly come.

Let's not have another personal opinion poll for a thread.......... Lack of extras "YES" o.k..... discuss what has been confirmed FILMED, and you'd like to be released..... the PQ/AQ is good by most accounts (feel free to disagree) and the movie itself is subjective....... Let's keep this to the lack of features, and what could have been included (THAT YOU KNOW WAS FILMED AND EDITED)

Since this is the first part of an upcoming trilogy they'll be double dipping us with special edition release next year, when the next movie "The Great Khan" hits theaters. At least I hope so. Or we can just wait about 5 years for complete trilogy boxset.

Question, I think I've seen this on History TV Canada, was that from History Channel or National Geographic? I've seen the BD in store and wanted to buy it but I just wasn't sure if it was the movie I saw.
