Paramount kept the home video rights when they sold it to Netflix but they probably still have to wait until it has been out a year or more before they can release it here.

Easily the most underrated film of last year for me, I find the idea of people screwing up space-time with disastrous consequences to be a fascinating premise. It provides a great explanation for the Cloverfield universe too. Other than a little bit of out of place humour I still don't get why people don't like it.

I imagine it has a lot to do with how the Cloverfield tie-in was tacked on to an otherwise unrelated movie, as was done with 10 Cloverfield Lane. Both were non-Cloverfield scripts that were repurposed to fit. Cloverfield Paradox I dont think was even shot with the intention of being a Cloverfield movie.

The Annihilation UHD BestBuy exclusive was announced a month before street date, so we might not hear of an exclusive UHD release for Paradox until the beginning of January as it releases the beginning of February.
