Sounds good and being that it's from A24 should definitely be worth a watch. I don't know if they can make this look appealing to mainstream audiences like they did with The Witch and Hereditary though. Sure they didn't like them but they were at least able to market them to look mainstream enough. This sounds pretty offbeat. But here's hoping they release it wider anyway and it's not some DirecTV/A24 collab or something.

Wasn't there a V/H/S segment in one of the movies with a cursed piece of clothing, a magician's cape if I recall. That was really good.

Yes, I'm so excited for Peter Strickland's follow-up to The Duke of Burgundy. It's also nice to see Marianne Jean-Baptiste's return to film.

There is NO WAY this movie is getting distributed wide. At the AFI screening I was at last night, a decent portion of the audience left by the 80 minute mark.

This one is honestly the most bats * * t psychotic film they've ever acquired for distribution and how darkly comic it is by playing things straight is a testament to Peter Strickland as a filmmaker. One will never look at sponge baths or mannequins the same way.

Just saw In Fabric and it's much more of a twisted comedy than anything I'd have expected from Strickland but still plenty creepy and pretty brilliant. Much closer to Berberian than to Burgundy (the giallo nods fall thick and fast with

), but I'd die for a nice, extras-laden blu-ray edition of this.

Sorry, should have mentioned it was screened at a film festival (in Portland).

Saw this at CIFF in March. The film is completely bonkers!!! You're going to love it or loathe it! What a f**king headtrip!
