Woot. Super guilty pleasure. But Alan Rickman is too great in this film.

This is one I would definitely pick up if the BD quality is solid. Post Man and Waterworld would also depend on the BD quality, those are the B movies of my youth (kind of like Doomsday is today). Robin Hood makes the A movie cut though, that was a solid one.

Nope, I give that title to the BBC Robin of Sherwood tv series that the Costner movie borrowed so heavily from.

Warner really needs to stop with the digibooks, even if it is one I will still have to pick this one up

Why? It's some of their best work. I like the digibooks.

I agree but i think those that oppose them are those who like uniformity. Which is a fair point.

If Warner like split the release having one half digibook the other regular slim case that might work. But i think they fear one might sell less than than other given the choice.

Maybe once sales reach a certain point they might.

hoping as well-- double dipped on dvd from the bare bones original release to
the special edition-- both had a mediocre picture at best!

I'll be reading at least 2 reviews before I buy this one...
