well good thing I decided to waited until today decided what to do I didn't know got paid early today

saw unboxing and said to myself ok i'll go ahead pre order and did tonight I hope get it weds or thurs since saying get it by Friday meh

This will be my 4th copy of Lion King (DVD, original Zavvi SB, Target digibook).

I wish I would have kept my diamond blu-ray, but I sold it to make up for buying the Zavvi and digi.

I can't decide if this beats the black signature BB steel or not, but looks good enough to me. I doubt I'll see the difference between the 4k disc and BD though.

interesting to see how much peoples artistic opinions differ on here. ofcourse youll always find someone who loves/hates it but its always interesting when you think something looks amazing but other people don't like it at all. like i own the original signature steel for this and i think the new one is 10x better hands down first is BERRY boring for me. but a lot of the comments lean towards the first being better. Like the mondo X mermaid i think it's one of the best steelbooks/artstyles I've personally seen. Then you see people who hate it and you're like are they looking at the same thing i am?

not looking for an argument, just saying the variance in opinion and responses to steelbook never gets old to read through

This looks a lot better in the unboxing video. If the front image were different then I'd buy this on day 1.

Anybody else's copy have a series of vertical scratches on the spine? Seems like every copy at my store has them. Looks like they're there in the pictures posted on the last page, too.

Really? He notices it in the unboxing video after taking off the shrinkwrap. Wonder how many it really affected

Yep, they were all degrees of bad at my store.

Went to my store today within 10 minutes of opening found 3 copies on the shelf all vertically scratched horribly like around 10 scratches on the top 2 inches of the spine and all with at least 1 decent size going into the title.

Gonna risk ordering it online through shipment but online says not until early January. Still I'm gonna try it hopefully the January ones will be a different batch that are not scratched

I thumbed through the 6 copies my store had and found only 1 that didn't have those scratches. It's now mine.

Just crazy to think that this many spines got damaged all similar and no one thought to do anything about it...

I thought at first it was the design but it varied so much from copy to copy. I actually didn't see any normal spine slashes through the logo/middle but the top and bottoms of many of them were marred.
