Off the top of my head, I've only seen two Dutch films.

Watched both in their native language with English subtitles. The Vanishing was back in the late-90s in one of my college film classes, though, so I don't recall much about it now.

Dutch movies? I thought there was just the one with Ed O’Neil. Oh and that other one with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

I've definitely seen The Vanishing. I've seen Black Book and Code Blue as well. I'm sure I'm forgetting a couple/few, but no, Dutch films aren't to me what French or Italian cinema is. Then again, nothing is.

the vanishing aka het gouden ei
with the real ending
and dutch comedies classic like flodder - schatjes
or quiz
somebody seen those what your thoughts about those

but over here the dutch movies are getting thrashed by our selves
or it must another ww2 about germans stealing or bikes again
or put much naked stuff in it that work they thought
but here in the netherlands some porn canals are free but after a decade it s blant and nobody is watching it anymore

Most of them are documentaries. Obscure? Maybe to the general audience, I don't know. But Joris Ivens and Johan van der Keuken are for example pretty important names in Dutch cinema, especially in the documentary field.

Easy answer for me: All of Paul Verhoeven’s Dutch flicks. Period.

Yeah and apart from Spetters, none of them are on Blu-ray unfortunately.
