It's coming down to the wire. I've had a number of people still question me on why this is so expensive. A lot of the expense is going for laboratory work (a little over $5000) to turn this back into film after the digital files (but this is an archival process)

So how can you still help, even after you've contributed (and thank you again!)

We're awfully close on this. I've reached out to everyone I can think of for support, but if you know people who might be interested in seeing Little Orphant Annie restored, then now's your chance to share this project with them. I'll make it easy for you!

If we don't raise the full $10,000 for this, then all the campaign is for nothing and the donations get returned. We're now about $1500 away from the goal, and I know we can do it!

We're now $1100 away from the $10,000 goal, with four days left in the campaign. So close. It would be extremely sad if this project fails to fund, a tragedy for silent film lovers in fact. I know there's gotta be a few more of you on this board somewhere...and if you've never seen a Colleen Moore film before, trust me, you want to, because she's wonderful.

Never thought I'd ever be holding this precious treasure in my hands...the release was unavoidably delayed by a few months, but it was well worth the wait...
