Pirates by Roman Polanski will be released in Blu-Ray on April the 5th by TF1 Video in France. English et french tracks in DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1. Extras not confirmed. Steelbook

Hah! Didn't even know Polanski made this film, guess this is the time for me to 'discover' it... lol

Here's hoping for The Fearless Vampire Killers to be released as well.

I sort of heard about this movie a few years back on a French TV show. Wasn't release here in theaters which seem strange for such a big French movie. I will keep eye out at Future Shop to see if it's available

I have the movie on now, yes there is English Audio. Unless any one else knows different french subtitles are forced

Tfi is the most UN-friendly French studio around as far as English speakers in the US are concerned.

It's actually TF1.

And I wholeheartedly agree with the statement. I want to watch my movies without obnoxious French subs. TF1 force them, but at least they're not too invasive.

Subs easily removed on PC with AnyDVD.

How are the forced French subtitles placed? All in the picture or half in the picture and half in the bottom black bar?
